Trevor,
The Properties I've posted have been copied-and-pasted from the Properties box on the Share Tab. The Profile on the other hand, is the selection from the drop-down list on the Share Tab. It seems that VideoStudio renames the Profile (adding 1, 2, 3, etc) if you change the settings (create a custom profile) by clicking the + or pencil icon next to the Profile name. Hence when I rendered the Lake Sample the Profile showed 1280 x 70, but the actual properties/settings were 1920 x 1080 because I changed them for that profile (which may not have been a good idea). Hope this makes sense - and it is confusing. "Same as Project Settings: No" in my posts indicates that the Same as Project Settings box was not ticked at the top of the Share Tab.
Anyway, the Lake Sample does play on my TV if copied direct from my PC. However, rendering it using the FHD option does not.
I have tried changing back to H.264HIGH from AV1 in a couple of the tests above - no joy.
Your video attached plays on my TV via same USB stick.
Also, tried a number of other permutations with no joy.
Thanks for the time you've spent on this.
Regards,
John.

Ok
Using the video I provided.
Start a new project
Insert the video to the top timeline to get the “messages panel” YES to that
Remove the video, add your video
Share – tick the option Same as Project Settings - render
Does the new video play on your tv.

Re: USB to Panasonic TV
Done that using the Lake Sample instead of my video - didn't play on my TV.
Done again but kept your video and re-rendered - that DID play on my TV.
Done again using both your video and the Lake Sample - didn't play. ???
