I need to edit 4k footage from iPhone pro max. The footage is HDR 4k. I have no problem paying back in PC but when I import the videos to vs2023 the videos seems terrible. All washed out !
Any advise ?

I made a research. It is because the footage is Dolby vision.
VS can not handle it.
So I started contending all HDR footage to SDR in handbrake.

Even so, are you able to provide a sample of the original video.
You could try deselecting the acceleration options to see if that changes things

Team this has nothing to do with acceleration.
If the footage is Dolby vision 10 bit this happens in my common editing tools. I made a research.
Corel Video studio is not different. The only different is that tools like Final Cut, premier or Davinci Resolve are much more well support and the have published either luts to fix or you can change the project to HDR which solves the issue.
We VS users as always we need to find our ways. As we have workarounds for overlay clipping etc.
Anyway handbrake is a nice tool and provided a workaround for me.
