Windows 10

Display the size of a picture element/picture object
Hello Hans and welcome to the forum. The forum rules specify English as the official language. Going forward please post in English.
Here is a translation of your original post:
Working with this program requires a high level of frustration.
What went smoothly with the "predecessor program" PhotoImpact X3 tears one's patience with the same application on PP21.
There is nothing simpler than displaying the size of an image element/image object.
With PI X3 this is done with one click.
With PP21 everything is displayed, only the simple display of the size is not possible anywhere.
OR
Is it possible and I just don't get it yet?
Then please let me know how it goes.
Thank you and kind regards Hans

There are a couple ways to display image info. The first is to make sure the Status toolbar is checked. View -> Toolbars -> Status This will show the pixels in the lower right-hand side of the screen.
The second is via the Image Menu. Click Image Information and you will get the following dialog box.

Display the size of a picture element/picture object
If you want to know the size of a selection inside an image, there is no tool to do it. But it could perhaps be calculated by a script.
Another way is doing the following when your object is selected:
-> Image -> Crop to selection
You get the size in the toolbar (bottom right)
Undo the crop (Ctrl+Z)

Re: Display the size of a picture element/picture object
Thanks kathy for your fast answer!
But it is not, what I mean.
What you tell or show me, I had known it.
I mean to show the size of the picture-object.
I only can see the position of the object, but not the size of it.
Best regard
Hans

Scripts. Scripts can do what you want. A similar question was asked some time ago and I offered to make one. Need to finish that script actually. Now that I am on vacation maybe I will.

Re: Display the size of a picture element/picture object
There does not appear to be a simple way of doing this,
If I use the Pick tool to select the image, then Ctrl+C to copy, followed by Ctrl+Shift+ V for Paste as New Image, or (Shift + Insert)
For new image - the size shows bottom right of screen.
Really needs a tool tip to show the size when floating the mouse over the selection.

Re: Display the size of a picture element/picture object
I did of course.
Here's a simple script that reports on the position and size of any object in PSP. - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=70225
I'm still working on an equivalent to PhotoImpact's Position and Size tab in the Object Properties window. Once that's done you can both see and edit the position and size of any object.

Re: Display the size of a picture element/picture object
I've now updated the script to include an edit dialog that can actually define the location and size of any selected object, raster or vector, similar to the options on the pick tool but more specific on the width and height.
hanspsp21 - you'll notice it looks similar to the same dialog in PhotoImpact.
