"Can't reach this page" VS2022U
Hello.
Lately when I open vs2022 I get a pop up window (see Image). Then when I close the window I get another pop up (see vs2 image). Then if I click "Yes" Vs finally opens. It does not matter how I try to open Vs, even if I go directly to the file directory and start the program. I have tried Repair from the uninstall and no success. Does anyone else have this issue or know whats going on? Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
I have just opened and reopened VS 2022 without any messages. So at the moment I cannot replicate your experience.
Can we assume that you have the internet connected at the time, and that you registered VS 2022 with Corel when you first installed it (so that there should not be any need to contact Corel as the first message you get could be interpreted as implying)? I have also just opened Corel.com and successfully entered its registration page without receiving any message.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
Is it possible that you have just done a windows .net update and this problem arose after that?
I had a similar experience, with the account panel that appears immediately after a new install. After months of normal use, after a windows .net update it started appearing on every launch. Since I already had an account and the software was registered, I clicked the X and VS started normally. After a few days of this I tried just completing the account panel for an existing account, and after the 1st try, everything became normal again. Reported, nobody else had that experience, but the theory advanced was a registry entry was modified or not saved as part of the .net update.
Just for background, .net is the MS replacement for basic, in that there are standard functions available for apps to call for regular jobs, rather than a vendor writing their own. Issues like this seem to be typical of untested issues getting thru the QA process for .net changes (if there is one).

Like other replies, no problem in launching vs 2022
If you disconnect the internet, what happens when running 2022.
For me the program runs without any problems, other than the Welcome Screen being limited in its content.
Odd error message, not related to registration, so may be the check for updates thats corrupt
What do you see from Help - Check for Updates.?
Clutching at straws really..........

Thanks Davidk...
Could you please elaborate on completing the account panel for an existing account. I tried from Help --- Account settings ----- then logged in to my account... I can see all my registered products including vs2022 .
but then what?

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
When run after a first install, VS presents an account panel - basically a black background with white boxes, aimed at creating a Corel account to register your newly installed VS software. In it, there is a tick box for an existing account, and if you select that box, it just asks for the account email address and the password you chose on first registration. It returns an Ok if the account is found, then select the OK button at the bottom, and the VS heart girl flash screen appears before proceeding to the main UI.
Since on my system, this appeared - again - after months of normal usage, just after a windows .net update, I reasonably think the problem recurrence of the account panel was caused by that update. Because I had an account, confirmed via the support website that the CVS version was in the programs list, I just clicked the X at the top of the panel, and the app launched normally. But for days, every launch of CVS was the same - account panel, click X, and then normal operation. Eventually I got tired of that and tried ticking the existing account box, password etc and after that, problem fixed; CVS launches after that did not have that account panel present as the very first thing.
And thus my suggestion re a windows .net update might be producing an abnormal response when starting VS on your PC.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
This is the registration panel David is referring to
For David this panel displayed in full, your panel seems to have the lower portion missing,
It may be that this section is on the Corel server, a problem there
However i have re-installed 2022 with no problems which would indicate that the Corel Server is ok.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
Try again a few days later has been my experience.
For some reason I have gotten loads of these blank pages in videostudio and just ignored them to try again later, painful in this case where it is the online registration form that is blocking you. I'm pretty sure I eventually just went directly to their website once when I updated a few years back out of frustration with the web just being a bit odd. Hope perserverance wins out for you.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
Question unanswered - did you update windows .net before the issue arose?
Unusually there have been 2 .net updates issued this last month: generally, you would be lucky to see 1 in 2 months.
The one which affected me was released on or just before 7 July, KB5027538 (Cumulative Update for .NET framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2), about which I've posted about elsewhere. The second release was about a week later, KB5028937. There's been no comment I have found about why there were 2 releases so close together, but past experience suggests that something was wrong with the 1st one, needing a quick fix.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
Hello again. Well I tried all the suggestions, and have had no success. I also did a total uninstall of vs22 and then used the clean up tool for vs2022 resulting in the same issue. I will give it some time and cross my fingers. I would like to thank you all for the suggestions.

Re: "Can't reach this page" VS2022U
Here's my solution:
First use the clean tool(https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=59847) to uninstall VS2022 completely.
After the uninstallation is done, press Windows + R key to open the "Run" dialog. Type "%AppData%"to the dialog, and it will open a folder called "Roaming". Find a folder called "Corel" in the new window, open it up, and check is there a folder called "Messages". Delete it if exist.
Finally, install the application and check is it works.
