Run PSP 2023 Offline?

This was possible in previous versions and I have PSP 2021 Ultimate running on a PC that is not connected to the internet as it gave me the 'Offline' option and want to do the same with PSP 2023.

I bought the PSP 2023 Ultimate upgrade and while it installs, it won't show the 'Offline' option so I can't actually use it. I've launched it multiple times but the 'Offline' option never appears?

Have Corel changed this so it needs an 'always on' connection?

Where do you see the 'Offline' option in 2021?

When installing 2023 you need the online connection. After completing the installation, you can disconnect the internet and use the software.

We need the internet to install the program and to launch the program for the first time
On first start we register the program by entering our e-mail address, using our Corel’s account e-mail address.
Subsequent runs should not require registration or internet, although the welcome screen will not show correctly as that is server based.

Barry can you provide a screenshot of any error messages you receive

In PSP 2021 the Registration nag pops up when loading and you just click the 'Continue' button to load PSP. After 3 or 4 subsequent loads there is an option in the Registration nag that says something like 'Do not show again while offline' with a box you can tick, once ticked the Registration box doesn't appear again! So PSP 2021 runs just fine Offline!

The problem is the PC I will install PSP 2023 on has no onboard NIC/WiFi and there is no NIC/WiFi card installed either as I wanted a machine that simply has no network capability whatsoever!

IF PSP 2023 cannot be installed/run 100% Offline I'll have to explore asking for a refund, is anything mentioned when installing that says I MUST have an internet connection to use it?

My thoughts on this....
Using 2021 I would enable the internet, Launch 2021 then go through the registration process.
Choosing “I already have an account”, then entering your Corel Accounts e-mail address.
That may overcome any popups in the future.
I have just launched my version of 2021 five times without the internet no problems, that is no registration panel.
The welcome screen however has limited content as it indicates “ you are offline, Some resources are unavailable”

PSP 2023 same problems, you need an internet connection to download the programs installation files, you also need the internet to register the program.

You should contact Corel Support to ask if there is an alternative way to install without the internet.

That's not possible as the machine has zero network capability by design, PSP 2021 runs just fine offline on that machine, that means it's not even had any windows updates since it was installed!!

Time to abandon PSP then due to this forced registration nonsense! PSP 2021 will be the last version I will use as it needs no internet connection once installed!
