Bypass Macrovision Copy Protect

Post by astegon »

I've a several problem which I'd written before here (the older forum)

Let me briefly explain, I have a Samsug V-PL 850 Hi8 Camcorder and Hi8 casettes. And Leadtek A 360 TDH VGA card (having ViVo capability)

My aim is to capture my private Hi8 casettes. But due to macrovision protect I have the following problem :

http://evren.ce.metu.edu.tr/capture.jpg

It is not due to capture software ( I've used Ulead VS 7 and Winfast PVR)

In the older forum, since I do not know the problem, some one said that it is the macrovision copy protect and I have o use the older Nvidia WDM driver. I try to find the driver ( ver: 1.08 ) and finally found.

But with this driver ( 1.08 ) I get poor quality.

Does any body bypass this problem? How can i get much more good quality captured video? How can I defeat macrovision protect? Any device? Any software?

Regards

Your only other option is to get a video stabilizer that sits between your capture device and your video source which can remove the signal.

Bad capture quality could be caused by incorrect capture settings. If the capture file looks fine but the output file / DVD does not, then the project settings used during the Share stage are incorrect (usually a field order problem).
