I know there is a way to make psp images able to work in an earlier version, but have forgotten how to do it.
Would someone please let me know? I need to convert to psp 9 usage.

Go to Save as and click on Options.

Those look like the options for JPG not PSPImage. Make sure you have the correct file format selected before choosing the "Options" button as "Options" will change depending on which format is chosen.
