Help - how to exit a tool after editing

Post by AthensFaye »

I have used Paintshop Pro for years, but there are a few things that I've never been able to figure out.

The most annoying one is, how to remove/exit a tool that I have finished using?

For example:
https://drive.proton.me/urls/F6A3TC7134#ReDhndXpzFe5

I have used the straighten tool succesfully, but the line/tool remains on the image/screen. Clicking into 'Selections' then 'Select None' doesn't work.

Whenever this happens in the past I have saved the image then closed/started PSP again to continue editing. There must be an easier way! :D

Hello AthensFaye and welcome to the forum.

Just click on any other tool and the line will disappear.

No need to feel foolish. We all learn from one another. :)
