Hi John
Regarding Video Studio, you should raise a topic there.
Yes VS has suffered a little, the difference is that with PSP is we have identified the culprit, fixing that is another matter, you should report this to Corel / Alludo support whether they will fix things for the older PSP 2019 is debatable.
Thanks Trevor and others.
I think this topic has already been discussed in VS.
I don't think anyone at Corel would be interested in PSP 2019.
I wonder if this problem persists in 2023?

Quick update regarding the slowing down of PSP after editing about 25 files.
PSP was running very slowly so I decided to close the programme and use Taskmaster to close the residual part of the programme.
This is what Takmaster told me.

Once closed, all was well.

Try downloading the trial of 2023 to see if it works better for you.

Downloaded 2023 Ult and the 'Residual' problem appears to be resolved.
I have only edited 2 or 3 files so far and PSP closes as it should.
I will test with multiple file edits in the next few days.

I have now edited around 30 or so files, using crop, brightness, and a few other tools. The problem with having to use Taskmaster to re-open appears to be solved.
However, when nearing the end of my 30 file session, PSP begins to run very slowly indeed. Closing PSP takes around 60 seconds to complete, during which time my cursor disappears.
On re-opening, the programme starts to run normally again. The workaround is not to edit too many files in any one session.
