In VS 2022 Ultimate during edit, audio is not playing from the video track when I'm working on the whole project, no sound, but audio is heard when playing a clip. Any ideas or a bug?
I could do my project in VS 2021 Pro but I've already spent too much time on it in VS 2022.
Thanks for any help.

Is it possible that you have the video track muted (speaker icon in the track LH pane with a big red X), but the clip you play that has sound is actually in an overlay track? That would give the result you describe.

Re: VS 2022 Ultimate audio stops on video track during edit
Turns out when I go into audio attributes and click on the dB marker to see the level for the video track, then audio works for all tracks, so I'm good to go for now. So Davidk, I bet I was looking at the audio in attributes for the overlay track that caused this to happen. Thanks so much for your input.
