Hi everyone, I have Video Studio 2019. I'm trying to create a project with a duration longer than 10 minutes and when I try to upload my audio file, the system displays the following message: "The total duration is greater than the maximum possible project duration. Some clips will not be added to the project".
Can anyone help me to solve this problem. I want to create a project of a 15 minutes video and I am not able to because of this message.
Thanks in advance.
Video longer than 10 minutes.

Bom dia Luiz Marcelo -- seja bem vindo ao foro!
When you get that message, do you try to insert your audio anyway? Does it get inserted or is it totally rejected or cut down in size? Do you already have all your video in the timeline or is there currently not so much video, and your audio is already 15 minutes long?
Can we assume that this message does not appear when your project is around 10 minutes?
You aren't by any chance assembling the project on an external USB drive connected to your computer? If so, is it formatted as NTSC or FAT? I ask since of course if it is FAT, it can only accept or create files which are 4 GB or smaller. But in any case, such a message as the one you received would not normally be generated...
I have to add that I personally have never received such a message, and most of my projects are 20 to 25 minutes long...

This error was reported before, it might be due to a corrupted media file.

Try an audio file from a different source and if the problem does not reoccur, then your first audio file is problematic.LMPower wrote: when I try to upload my audio file, the system displays the following message: "The total duration is greater than the maximum possible project duration.
