Changing the Interface background color

Post by Cowgirl »

Hi,

I know that I can go to the interface and change the color or choose a custom color, but I would like for it to be transparent. I just got PSP 2023 Ultimate, and I'm in the Complete workspace. I use windows 11. In the older versions, there was a way to do this, but I can't seem to find out how in this new version.

Thanks for any help.

There has never been a transparent workspace in any version of PSP.

Hi Judy
Just a little confused, are you referring to the programs Workspace to have a transparent background.
Or referring to your Image background colour / transparency.

Your Image can of course have a transparent background
File – New (Ctrl + N) we can select transparent.

From an image as a raster layer we can make a selection, Delete to show as transparent.
We can also adjust the Layers Transparency from the Opacity option at the top of the layers.
