This is just a minor annoyance and maybe there's an easy way around it ?
Quite often I want to paste an image into PSP, which is closed.
On opening PSP I cannot access the "Paste as new image" menu option until another image (or a blank one) is open.
Is there a way to Paste without having some other image open, or maybe a way to set PSP to open with either a blank image or to an "empty" Workspace ?

OK, OK I am stupid ! I just have to click on Edit to get to a blank Workspace. It must be my age.
PS I still wish I could start with a blank Workspace though. Just being lazy.

File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences
Select the "Tabs" category from the list on the left of the dialog, then in the right-hand side you'll see the option to open "Edit" as the default.
