Missing tool settings menu PSP X9
Recently bought new computer. Downloaded ole faithful, PSP X9 (sorry) but it didn't load exactly like my old set up and I can't sort it out. For example: If I click on the 'makeover' tool there use to be a set of boxes at the top of the screen in the horizontal toolbar space with options. Now just the toothbrush comes up. Same thing with the 'scratch remover' function, a box on the horizontal toolbar space would like me set the width. All gone. I can't set the size of my clone circle or the density. What have I done wrong? Sorry for being such a nimrod, but I have now wasted a lot of time trying to sort it out and figured I would lean on the guru's once again. Thanks in advance. Fred

Sounds like your Tools Options toolbar has come undone. Go to View - Palettes and make sure Tools Options is checked. Or, you can just hit F4 to toggle the menu on and off.

Re: Missing tool settings menu PSP X9
Kathy, I thought you unclouded it for me, sounded like that show tools option would do it and when i went to it sure enough it was not checked. I checked it but nothing happened. Levi asked for a screen shot. For whatever reason I cannot get a screen shot to paste, but I included a doc. with one in it. You will see I have 'makeover' selected on the vertical toolbar and none of the "makeover" options are visible. So you can't choose between teeth whitening or any of the other options and also the strength of those options does not appear.

Re: Missing tool settings menu PSP X9
Kathy, you did get it. I restarted PSP X9 and tried a few of the options and the toolbars 'appeared'. Still not like what I had before. They use to be anchored to the top toolbar menu, now they appear as a pop up. If I chose a different option it is replaced with that option's tools option. Normally I just drag the options popup to the upper set of toolbars and it anchors it, not the case this time. Any thoughts there?

Try double clicking on the palette titlebar usually that will just snap it back into it's original location.
Or drag it and you should see little tabs appear indicating where it can be docked, hover over those tabs while dragging and release the left mouse button and it should snap into place.
