Just catching up on this post, some reference to Customise Motion works well
Right click the clip for customise motion, do not change anything, simply click ok

After playing around a little, every time I add a clip there is no missing corner.
New project with different settings or reboot the program and still no missing corner, Hmmmmm

tletter, I had previously run your VSP with 1218 to confirm the missing corner, now opening with 2023 is ok
Confused, will rebooting the pc do the trick and show the missing corner again.

Post updated
It appears to be affected by the project frame size, set a project to 4 K and the corner shows as ok, below 4k and the corner is missing

Trevor, I'm not at home, the issue is a non issue if the proper tool is used to get the task done.

Its Not a matter of using any tools, simply drag a clip to the overlay track will show as a smaller image, that image has a corner missing.
We should not have to use a tool to repair that corner.
I have to say it is a very small corner and a little hard to see at least for my eyes, but it is there and should be fixed.

I wasn't clear,
It's 2 totally different things here. One is a bug with those overlay preview "handles".
The other is what tellter showed in his screenshot and his vsp.

Yes I realise there are 2 different issues here.
1 / Specific to 2023 adding a clip to the overlay track looses a small portion of the top right corner, missing pixels
Yes there will be a workround by using Customise Motion, even so the corner does need fixing.

2 / Then a report by tletter from 2018 regarding PinP, seems that looses some detail using drop shadow. There are no missing pixels
This can be fixed by reducing the Offset from 14.5, reduce to zero produced an even shadow

Come on still no fix... 2024 is coming and no fix.

When it comes to payment we pay the product cost immediately. But Corel provides a working product gradually.
This is not the way for customer satisfaction.

Some fixes as a temporary matter could be changing our workflow, by using Customise Motion does seem to fill the gap.
Our Admin did report this to the development team, if others were to report the problem to Alludo Support the may understand the wider implications. But I am sure this will get fixed, eventually.......
