I have some (commercial) abr brushes and want to import them in PSP 2023. Because it did not work I also reinstalled version 2020, but same problem.
ABR brushes size 9.586 kb is not recognized So I thought the size can be a problem but another (bought) one size 12 Mb gave no problems. In that bundle are also ABR files of over 200 mb which are not accepted.
Do I have doing it the old way with abr-viewer and suzinook's script ??

Re: Problems import ABR brushes
Since it's a commercial brush, can you point to where it's being sold?
If PSP's importer can't import it, there must be a reason. No idea what that is though.

No I read that. He is talking about a converter and find it. But that message is from 2018 and did not write where and what for converter it was.Jean-Luc wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:31 pm Perhaps a clue here:

One 12 Mb gave no problems, but the others are much bigger.
4 over 200 Mb and even one 319 Mb
So I think the size is the problem.
I am gonna try it the suzinook-script way. Made already PNG's from the ABR.

I used suzinook's way for the commercial ones and I can use them now in PSP.LeviFiction wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 3:37 pm Since it's a commercial brush, can you point to where it's being sold?

Als some free ones gave problems. Also Carole Cassell could not open this in 2022/2023
I see no way to attach it here, 20leafs.

I have no photoshop users nearby which could look at it.

Re: Problems import ABR brushes
As I'm not a facebook user I cannot download from the link. To upload it here it would need to be a .zip file and you need to go into the Full Editor & Preview side to add attachments. But if it's over 200MB then it won't work. Only other way would be something like Google Drive but it doesn't matter.
PSP does have a maximum brush head size. Originally it was 999x999. Now it's 3000x3000. I don't know if it has a maximum memory size for brushes. Or a maximum number of brushes in a file.
