VideoStudio 2023 closes when trying to apply Auto White balance

Hi everyone,

VideoStudio 2023 closes for me without any error message trying to apply Auto White balance (clip properties - Color tab, White balance section - clicking on the Auto button). This happens with any clip - I can reproduce with the sample Sample_lake.mpg.
Is it just me, or a general issue with VS 2023?

I don't know if it's just you, but I don't have issues with Auto White balance in VS2023
Actually Auto White balance is one of the best features in VS thru the years.

Hi Thomas,
When you open the Options Panel and Select Color/White Balance, tick the White Balance Icon, then select Auto and white Balance works correctly, if the White Balance icon is not ticked, the Auto Button should not be available, but sometimes, for some reason it is available, selecting Auto in that situation causes VS to crash without warning

Thank you - that was it!
It looks like the button is available without checking the checkbox right after bringing in the first clip to the project timeline. When the next clip is brought in, it's made unavailable for every clip.
