I was working on a project file for a while until the program suddenly closed itself. Since then, VideoStudio shuts down after a few seconds as soon as I open this project file. The source of the vsp file are 18 small mp4 files, together 240 MB, 4k (3840x2160), 23.98 fps, 2100 kbps'
Another project including 4k files crashes too while trying to edit it. Looks like Corel VideoStudio 2022 cannot handle certain 4k files.
Are there any people with similar experiences?

Re: VideoStudio shuts down few seconds after opening a project file
VS2022 can certainly handle 4K video, though might require some (many?) users to use SmartProxy. You have never included details of your computer in your Profile so it is difficult to say if that is the case here.
But I see you say your video has a frame rate of 23.98 fps, then if that is not a typo, it could be your problem since VS seems to often have problems with variable frame rate videos, and 23.98 fps indicates you are filming with such a rate. The nearest standard frame rate would be the cinematic 24 fps (or 23.97 fps).
You might want to try converting that video in a video converter like the freeware Handbrake, using 24fps as your target frame rate or if you are in a PAL country 25 fps.

Re: VideoStudio shuts down few seconds after opening a project file
Thank you for your reaction mister Berry.
After I switched to Smart Proxy the crash problem persisted, so that wasn't the solution.
A different 4k file at 29.97 fps generates the same problem. I converted both files to HD (1920x1080) with the free program XMedia Recode and there's no crashing anymore.
I also reported the problem to Corel Support. They promise to answer within 24 hours and still no reaction from Corel after 48 hours and still not after 72 hours.
They do not react at all. What kind of company is that, Corel?
