Video Studio Ultimate 2023 "Out of memory" error when saving

When saving a project (Ctrl + S), a popup saying "Out of memory" comes up. The project does save, and if you click "OK" on the popup, you can keep working, until the next time you save, when the same thing happens. This makes the application practically unusable, as you have to ctop and click off the message with every save.

I have just purchased two licenses for 2023. One for my main PC and one for secondary. On the main one this is an upgrade from 2021, while on the other one, it is a fresh install. The issue is identical on both. The secondary PC is brand new. Both have Windows 11. The main one has 32 GB RAM while the second one has 16. Both have NVME SSDs as the main storage device. Ryzen 5 CPUs and NVidia video on both.

I am also having such an experience.
If you save as then the message will not appear.
If you save again, such a message will appear.
In fact, it is also saved in the initially saved project.
The computer has 64 gigabytes of memory and the hard disk has plenty of space.

I have also had this error message when saving the VSP. Project contains 30 minutes of mats clips
Not had this with older versions.
A little busy today so did not have the to report to Alludo Support

I've passed this on to Alludo -- though I have to add that I have not received such a message so far. I have been trying with my own current project, but so far when I press Save, it just saves... Hopefully, though, Alludo will be able to replicate the problem.

Can you zip here the VSP so we can see how complex is your project? I have just 8G ram and few G's of disk and have no "out of" pop.

My project is bog standard 20 minutes of MTS video clips with an IP as a start, that contains placeholder images that I replace with my own.
I had experienced the Out of Memory before but assumed it was my environment till this post.
Another issue is rendering stalled at 13% always at 13%, nothing unusual there, reboot the PC and render completes ok, at least that was yesterday.
Today I can repeat the 13% but not the Out of Memory

Do I need to do a re-installation?

This isn't a VPS that was imported from an earlier version of Video Studio. It was newly created in VS2023.

Mine consists of MTS video clips as well. Could it be that 2023 has a bug related to working with those?

It is true that the program is on the slow side when importing mts files compared to mp4.
Once loaded does perform ok.
I have used .mts files for a long time without to many issues, rarely crashes

This memory issue is new for me, I believe it is the program and not just my environment.
Anyway I will be on holiday and unable to test, hopefully support will come up with something.

I can't see it being the environment, since I am having the same issue on two separate computers and aside from you and me, at least one other person commented the same in this thread.

Are those mts's from a Panasonic camcorder?
I don't have issues with mine on one hand but I didn't have 2 hours project on the other.
Tomorrow I suppose to shoot a 90 min thing, so I'll try to edit it in VS2023 and see.
