I discovered a bug in the "Modern Credits - Scroll" from VS2023's Titles library. I am not sure if this is correct place to report bugs. I attempted to create a Support Ticket concerning this, but the ticket creation panel was not working properly (clicking the "Send" button yielded no results). So this is the best I can do, I think.
For short scrolls, 9 lines or less, the scroll behaves normally. For longer scrolls (I tested 13 lines and 20 seconds), at about exactly halfway through the scroll, the text "jumps" back, with the first line of text now reappears at the top of the video frame. Then it completes normally. I've made a video showing the problem.
Unfortunately, my video is too large to upload to this topic post. So I've uploaded it to my personal YouTube channel as "unlisted," meaning you have to have the link to see it. This is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_DGBkQ-GBI

Hi
It appears the new animation options for Enter, Middle and Exit are causing this issue
As a workround………
If you need to use the scroll use Customise Motion
1 / Reset the Motion options to No Animation for Enter, Middle and Exit
2 / Resize your font, reduce until all text shows on screen ( position in center)
3 / Use Customise Motion to animate the text
4 / keyframe 1 .... increase Size, I used 150
5 / set Y position to -250 ( lowers text off screen)
6 / Right click first keyframe to copy to all
7 / change last keyframe for Y from -250 to 250 ( text off screen at top.)

We have heard back from Alludo that they have reproduced this error and will work on it. If they need further information they will ask for it here.

Hi Cyberherbalist and all,
Thank you for raising this issue to get our attention. It was the new animation options for Enter, Middle and Exit that were causing the issue. The animation of the "Modern Credits - Scroll" title template consists of two parts: Enter and Exit, with each part being half the duration. For longer scrolls, there may have been an error in the calculation of time and position. We will investigate this problem and try to correct it in the next update.
Here we would like to offer an alternative solution and hope it can overcome the problem tentatively.
1. Reset the Motion options to No Animation for Enter and Exit.
2. Apply a Fly animation for Middle
3. Set the Start unit = “Text“, End unit =”Text”, Repeat=”1” and set the enter and exit to the desired directions.
If you have any suggestion, we are all ears.

Hi Joseph, thanks for the quick response
Although we would expect setting animation to the middle section to work, Playback slows to approx. 50% at about the half way point, this is the same for Clip and Project playback. I have not been able to overcome this anomaly, other than using Customise Motion as posted above.
I have created a VSP showing this change in playback, attached

Is this ever going to be fixed? I regret updating from 2021 to 2023.
First, there's the annoying orange line that makes splicing a nuisance. Then, there's this!

Hi Jessrond
and welcome to the forums
For the scrolling text, using Customise Motion should be a good workround.
The orange line, I assume you mean the annoying scrubber, can be disabled via preferences (F6) or Shift +B, I think to turn on off. Or is it Alt+B
