Legitimacy of an offer from Corel Studio, Inc.

Post by Friidom2 »

Subject: Legitimacy of an offer from Corel Studio, Inc.

Dear Forum Members,

I recently received an email from Corel Studio, Inc. offering to promote their software "Corel Video Editor" on my YouTube channel. However, I am uncertain about the authenticity of this offer and am seeking advice from the community.

The email came from an email address "gladefdd@azet.sk" and included an offer to send me a media kit with the terms and conditions of the contract if I express interest in their offer. As I am hesitant to provide any personal information or payment without verifying the legitimacy of this offer, I am reaching out to the community for guidance.

Has anyone else received a similar offer from Corel Studio, Inc.? Can anyone confirm the authenticity of this offer? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing from the community.

Sincerely,
Friidom2

That email address has no link to the makers of VideoStudio, either Corel or the company which bought them out, Alludo. If they were calling themselves Corel Studio Inc, they had no right to do so. I am also not aware of Corel making such offers. So I would reject the "offer" out of hand.
