Weird Title Glitch

Post by TheGameBug »

I have noticed when I open PaintShop Pro 2023 Ultimate that the title at the top is horribly cut off. I know it isn't that big of a deal, but it is actually driving me crazy. I am running 4k at 100% display scaling. If I set the scaling to 125% display scaling it looks normal, but then everything is way too big for me. Is there a way to fix the title or no? I've include a screen shot of what I'm referring to.

One option you might try is editing the image that's used to create the titlebar.

The path depends on whether you're using the Ultimate or Pro version. Also I'm not sure if it's the file in the X1 or X2 folder for the 4K monitor.

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2023 (64-bit)\Data\Pro\X2
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2023 (64-bit)\Data\Pro\X1
or
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2023 (64-bit)\Data\Ultimate\X2
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2023 (64-bit)\Data\Ultimate\X1

You're using the dark gray workspace so you're looking for the file name: ProductName-DarkGray.png

If X1 is for standard screens and X2 is for high density monitors (like 4K) you can just copy the X1 version over to the X2 folder and it'll be smaller and probably fit just fine. Otherwise you can edit it to look anyway you want. Even a blank image just to get rid of the text altogether.

That fixed the title, but the shape next to the title is still chopped off, idk what it is suppose to be.

The little icon to the right of the word Ultimate is supposed to let you know which workspace you are in; Complete, Photography, etc. I wouldn't worry about it; in fact, I keep forgetting it's even there as I generally know where I am.

I haven't tested but I believe those icons are located in this folder C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2023 (64-bit)\Data\X2\WorkSpace
So same thing copying from the X1 version of the icon to the X2 is quick. Or just replace it with a blank PNG to get rid of it completely.
