dwm.jpg
When i open program, click on the 'Browse' icon, then see it named 'Desktop' in ( EXplorer ) tree on left .. everytime i click on Desktop, program Crashes ... Its been fine, only started happening last month approx .. How can i get the 'Browse' to 'Desktop' not to crash ?? I can browse to other folders no problem, only when i click on 'Desktop'
( My workaround is click 'Open{Folder} .. then browse to 'Desktop' but doesnt always remmeber 'Desktop' page this way

Guess:

Maybe PSP 9 has trouble displaying a preview for some file on the desktop. As a test, try moving all image files on the desktop somewhere else and see if you can browse the desktop without a crash.

Can you point to any recent updates that might have happened between when it was working and when it stopped working?

Have you tried forcing Windows to open PSP in compatibility mode? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... eea0f45938

Something seems corrupted.
To "clean" your PSP, do a reset:

After the reset, load the saved workspace and you will recover your customized configuration.
There is no possibility in PSP to modify individual icons or settings windows. If something is corrupted, a reset removes the corruption. :-)

To do a reset, you need to launch PSP with the Shift key down. You will receive a warning. Accept.
