It sounds like everything is working correctly, up to the point where you re-open the project file and find the blurring is missing.
This may sound silly, but after you had rendered your project, did you save the modified project file before you exited VS? If not, then the project file on your computer would probably be the one before you applied blurring.

Re: Track motion / blur
Yes, I save every project every time before exiting the program. Keep in mind, once the trio of 10 second video clips were added to the timeline and the track motion blurring performed/added to each of the three, the file was saved and then the rendering completed. Even if the file wasn't saved again after the rendering took place, the last save would have included the track motion. I feel like there's some sort of defect or bug within the program itself that requires an update or something from Corel. I've been using Video Studio for all of my YouTube videos since February 2015 (VS Pro X7) so I'm confident in my understanding of how the features work. Never had any problems like this until I upgraded to VS Ultimate 2022 recently and started my first project using this new version.

OK, you have all tried to help. Now the bandwagon of DaVinci haters can remain silent because I'm offering the best option. Kris, I know you have been using VS since X7 but you might want to look into DaVinci Resolve. There are two versions Free and Studio. Here's the differences: https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/buyi ... on-for-you
Corel's motion tracking is quite rudimentary, DaVinci is miles ahead and can even track surfaces. These tutorials should pique your interest.

There's tons of YouTube videos out there to help with getting started. Once you decide to commit, it will be time to Corel quit.

rwernyei -- As a former Moderator on this Board, you would be more aware than most of our basic rule against promoting third party software over that produced by Corel/Alludo. Yet most of your posts manage to work in precisely that theme. You said some years ago that you had finished with VideoStudio, and for quite some time that appeared to be the case. However you now return from time to time ostensibly to help out, but nearly always managing to cast negative reflections on the products covered here. This is therefore a formal warning for you to consider your future in our community. Help where you think you can, but stop the negative vibes or overt promotion of Resolve or any other third party product. If that continues, then we will have no alternative but to discontinue your membership here.

Ken -- As a Site Admin you break the rule of promoting third party software every time when it comes to audio issues. For YEARS you have always endorsed Audacity over VideoStudio's built in editor.

Re: Track motion / blur
The primary function of VideoStudio is as an NLE: a video editing program. Unlike you, nothing I write is aimed at encouraging users to move away totally from VS to another NLE. In any case, Corel/Alludo do not make a distinct audio editing product, so I can hardly be accused of encouraging users to stop using VS entirely.

Re: Track motion / blur
It is unfortunate that you are an obvious VideoStudio hater who continues to post here whilst continuously beating the drum for DaVinci Resolve. Frequently, you simply refer posters to your chosen NLE without addressing how VideoStudio can be used to address the poster's issue. Perhaps you are no longer familiar with VS so can't offer much useful advice on this forum.rwernyei wrote: Now the bandwagon of DaVinci haters can remain silent because I'm offering the best option.
Mostly importantly, you seem to be unable to understand that VS, while not being used for major motion picture production, is an easy-to-use NLE that can produce impressive results for many use cases. To suggest that DaVinci Resolve is the best NLE for most use cases is naive.

tletter,
And yet it is I with my vast knowledge of using Ulead/Corel products for years that is often the only one that helps the OP.

Possibly this thread too! OP might be using DaVinci Resolve for tracking motion/blur now

Notice now how he follows my lead advice.

Clear examples of help from an obvious VideoStudio hater that is no longer familiar with VS. Now who's being naive?
Remain silent and take your seat on the bandwagon bench.
