Encountered an improper

I was in the process of editing a clip, somewhere between trimming the clip and about to execute/analysis Mercalli Pro when I got this error message. The screen locked and the VS crashed/disappeared.

Can you reproduce the error every time or is it a one-off?

What version of VS are you running?

It's not a one off. This has occurred to me on more than a few occasions since installing VS2022. I haven't yet being able to replicate the exact steps but in general it usually happens after repeatedly trimming a clip(s) (timeline mode) then trying quickly selecting the 'Star' symbol to access a filter (usually the Mercalli Pro FX) it becomes unresponsive then crashes.

Just one of those annoying non meaningful error reports.
If you can replicate to order then you should report to Alludo Support
Otherwise take a little time before hitting the yellow star.
What other filters have you applied to the clip?
There have been other similar errors in the past and when Alludo can replicate they have a chance of fixing.
Mind you there is another that affects both 2022 and 2023 which can be replicated to order and that still has to be fixed.

It happened again, this time after about 2 hours of various editing, the last action before it hang was I clicked on a Clip and tried to open up Variable Speed option and it hang.
