Tool Options Help Needed

Post by Clive »

Hi

Can someone out there tell me how I can prevent Tool Options - Pan Tool from keep appearing in the middle of the screen every time I launch Paintshop Pro 2021 Ulimate.
If I click the cross in the corner it will diappear but the very next time I launch Paintshop its back again.
Down the left side of the screen I have all the tools I need, without, for want of a better term this free floating box in the middle of the screen.

Thanks to anyone who can help

Clive

Hi Jean

Thank you for your reply, Iv'e had a go at what you suggested but all it does is dock the Tool Options at the top or bottom of the screen.

You will see from my attachment that I already have the tools down the left side of the screen, in particular the Pen Tool, so I don't really need the options on the screen in two places.

Your screenshot shows two different things:

1. The actual Tools (along left side)
2. The Tools Option Palette (floating)

The Tools Option Palette has settings to refine or fine tune the Tools.

Hi Kathy

Thank you for your reply, I think Iv'e got it sorted now I guess I must have clicked something which made Tool Options keep opening up in the middle of the screen.

That's easy to do and I've done it myself. If you click and drag on it, it will undock/float the Tools Option palette.
