VideoStudio 2023: lowered audio level

Post by Amir23 »

Finally, the problem of the Sound Mixer section has been solved after many years.

From now on, in VideoStudio 2023, you will be able to reduce the sound intensity level by 60 dB compared to the initial state, while in previous versions it was reducing up to 36 dB maximum.

At -60 dB, no sound can be heard anymore.

Many thanks to the VideoStudio development team for solving this problem and congratulations to all VideoStudio users.

I've split your post off from the Wishlist thread since it is an important point in its own right about one of the really good things about VS 2023 and needs IMHO its own announcement. It will be interesting to see if there are any further posts on this subject which don't warrant being buried in the Wishlist thread.

I originally bought VideoStudio Ultimate but could not use because I needed to fade to silence not - 36. After 200 emails, two years later I was offered a FREE Download for Videostudio 2022 that I was told numerous times that it was FIXED. It was NOT fixed. After Testing I found out that I had been lied to and the Audio Fade to Silence was still not fixed. When Videostudio 2023 was released I downloaded a Trial Version and found that the Audio Fade to Silence was now working. Corel now wants me to purchase another Product to Fix a problem. This should have been a Patch to fix a problem that was Tested and recognized by their own Tech Support staff. I am not finished with Corel yet. I am going to pay Head Office in Ottawa a visit and will inform them and their Share holders about the out right lies about their Software that they acknowledged had a problem but released it despite of that. As mentioned, 2 Years , 150 emails, phone calls, Video Conference with Corel Tech Support (Who admitted that there was a problem) but yet to fix the problem I have to purchase another product. The Product I bought stated it had a Fade to Silence option which it never did. I would be interested to know if and how many times you had reported this problem to Corel? Thanks, Mark
