You failed to give an example of what you would recommend as an audio filter replacement. And while having all these wonderful features you present, that would drive up the cost of the product and increase the complexity of the product. It takes time (lots of programming time), talent, and money to achieve all these things. Can Corel make their money back if they invest in the necessary programmers to do this, in this highly competitive field? I don't think so.Amir23 wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 12:51 pm I think it's time to ditch the poor audio filters.
I would like to thank the development team for paying a lot of attention to the sound section in VS 2023.
They fixed the -36dB problem after a few years and also added audio cues, but the audio filters haven't been updated in years and offer poor performance.
Please replace better quality and more powerful audio filters with the current audio filters in VS 2024.
And while I would like VS to do what Premiere/Vegas/Resolve/Media Composer do, it's just not practical, and more importantly, not the audience that VS is trying to reach. Someone can get Audacity for free and edit their audio in that, along with all the free plugins one can get.
What I would like is to be able to dynamically link to any audio or photo editor outside of VS. In Vegas Pro, I can round trip anything audio to Soundforge Pro (or Audacity for that matter) with one click on the audio clip on the timeline. To do photo editing the same requires a plug, which approaches the price of upgrading VS. But those that use editing software as income (or have more spendable income for their hobby), don't mind paying for plugins.
