Project completely mixed up since last saved

Post by Marc J »

Hi,

The last time that I worked on my video project, it was 7 minutes long and now I open it to continue and it is over 13 minutes long. The clips that I've cut are back on the timeline and when I play the video, half of it doesn't move, the clips are like photos and no sound because they're still. I hope there is an easy fix beside starting it all over again. I've attached a print screen of my project if it can help.

Thanks for your help.

I think you may have resized the video by dragging the yellow trim bars to the right, this adds duplicate frames.
If you go to Preferences F 6 - Clip Display Mode set to File name only.
The clips should be all green with the file name, if you see any blue segments then you have added duplicate frames, which will play as an image, doesn't move
If this is the problem then you will have to remove each blue segment one at a time, frustrating to say the least.
