resize

I have a video that is out of proportion. Is there any way to resize it to the correct proportion?

File menu: Preferences/Edit tab/ Set "Image Resampling Option"=Keep Aspect Ratio. BTW, this works only at the moment of insertion into the timeline. Remove the clip and reinsert it after the pref is set.

Thank you for the tip, but the video was recorded out of proportion. Its width is 100% but the hight was reduced to about 80% when it was broadcast. I need to stretch the hight to make the video in proportion.

drop the video into the 'Overlay track'

Select 'motion filter'

play with the proportions in the preview screen.

don't know if this will cure your problem,

but is worth a go
