Mercalli Pro within Split Screen

Post by RickMen »

I'm trying to apply Pro Mercalli to a clip on overlay track 1within a split screen but get error message "Video Analysis failed". Not sure about next steps.

After a few days I gave it another go. I deleted the 1st attempt from the timeline and re-did it again (not sure if I replicated the exact steps as last time). My steps this time were:

1. added split screen template to the end of the timeline
2. added black background to the location in the timeline where I wanted to place the split screen
3. Move split screen template to location 2 above
4. Inserted clips into the template
5. Applied Mercalli Pro to 1 clip

It worked this time (no Mercalli error message). I guess that I stuff up the sequencing the 1st attempt. :?
