I have been happily using PSP 2023 for a while now but today ran into a problem resizing. I called up a .psp image I had been working, tried to resize it and everything seems to be fine while the program was working. Then it presents a blank image. Image information says it contains very little data. Tried several times, reset to factory defaults, no luck. Help please!
Edit: I have been trying hard to sort this out, without direct luck. I tried digging out my copy of PSP2022 and that had the very strange reaction of being able to open .jpg files but saying all the .psp file in the particular folder I was working on were corrupt.
Back to PSP2023, I tried to re-size a .psp image smaller - and it worked exactly as it should! So I tried to re-size the same image larger - 101% and the image disappeared. This enters the realm of the occult and uncanny...
I finally worked around the problem by creating a new image file of the size I wanted, Select All on the original image and Paste Into Selection - and voilà! I have what I wanted - but something is clearly wrong.
I do hope someone will help me with this problem - perhaps Moderator Kathy_9?
Oh dear - looks like I'm not going to get any help. Perhaps the next update will fix it.

Hello ericge and welcome to the forum.
I've moved your post to it's own topic where it may receive better response. You originally posted it in a 4 year old topic that had to do with resizing the application window itself and not an image.
It might help others help you if you specified the starting size of the image and what you tried to increase it to.

Re: Having Trouble Resizing Image
Make sure you set the pspimage saving to a compatible version (when Saving as, click on Options). Pspimage file from PSP 2023 is not compatible with previous versions.
What is the size of your image?
Do you use the AI resizing mode or the regular (bicubic, etc.)?
Does it contain layers?
