Selection / Modify / Expand not symmetrical [solved]

I am using PSP 2023 Ultimate.

When I expand a selection, the value for the number of pixels will expand the bottom and right of my selection, like a drop shadow, but I also want it to expand top and left like a frame.

I cant find any controls that "Expand section" utilizes to determine which side(s) to expand.

Any help appreciated.

Solved.
The Nov 2022 hotfix for PSP 2023 changed selection expansion back to classic behavior.
