With you all the way asik1, for what possible reason would Vendelin Zatko need to post the same thing 3 times, at this stage he could not have had sufficient time to evaluate fully what he is telling editors to purchase or ascertained what new features (if any) have been added, what features have been enhanced, as he ascertained that VS2023 Build 26.0.0.136 is stable.
On what basis is his recommendation based on

I just received an email offering an update for $63.99. Also received the same offer when closing v2022.

Like bjtap1, after opening and closing VS 2022 I too received a much better price offer of NZ$87 (US$54). The original offer in https://www.videostudiopro.com/en/produ ... /ultimate/ was nearly double that at a colossal NZ$$165 (US$103). Given exchange rate variability, that may be USD 50 instead of USD 100 (or USD 55 or USD 105). Whichever, it is an enormous difference in price for first buyers.

Hmmm... I installed the Trial version as well, but received no message about Edge Web View. I have Edge on my computer (comes as part of Win 11) but am not aware of the extensions it might contain. And I never use Edge at all.

Snowball -- if you go on to buy VS 2023, when asked to Register the product you may receive the dialog box shown on the first page of this thread, and marked VS 2022. When you fill it in, can you check your registered products in Corel.com > Support. Has it registered VS 2023 as 2023 or as 2022...?

In uninstall programms you can check if there is item: WebView 2. If so, you have it already installed.

I'm running 2022 on a 12th gen NUC, installed the 2023 trial and it's zipping along nicely.

VIDEOSTUDIO 2023 | My UPGRADE - EXPERIENCE!

1. UI AND PERFORMACE:
__The fact the editing application has been enhanced to work at its full capacity using the max power of your System/PC is a HUGE advantage. The UI feels pretty sleek compared with other versions. Not all of us can afford a high-end editing system, so this makes a difference especially when editing 4k footage. I still recommend using the proxies. Being able to import 8k footage is awesome. Plz get this right, the fact you can import and work with these type of files doesn't really mean you can export-it in such HUGE video resolution. There's zero exporting video profiles for 8k video resolution and that's OK. I edited this short using 8k-footage then exported it in 4k and it LOOKS great to me. This short video clip was completely edited on VS2023, the 3D animations were done #MS3D https://youtu.be/dHdL7Wz22H4 What you think? Please leave your comments and arguments, it would be interesting to know what you think.

2. NEW ADD-ONS:
__It honestly DOES-NOT impacts me. The fact you can now edit the START-MIDDLE-END motion of your tittles was pretty much doable with a lil bit on thinking before. For some this might mean anything, for me I'm like meh.., but Ooooook! We could of gotten some new feature added onto the system. I get what the company is doing with VS thou, their trying hard to make it stand-out from the hundreds of editing applications out there and whatever is trendy by keeping it simple, yet intuitive for users on the go. So I didn't expect much from that point of view, but some users might appreciate the NEW FX and filters added-on! Now about you CHEATERS like me out there Lol.., with the old UI you could export your NewBlue FX not included from older versions onto whatever upgrade you were doing and they worked just fine. I was curious to see if these would work and..., they DO-NOT! I get it. NEW-UI, NEW-UPDATED FX being able to work w/the upgraded interface. So these NBLegacy from version 21 worked just fine on 22, however they simply didn't work on the 23 version. Bummer! Lol GOOD-NEWS thou! The NBTOTALFX has been updated and it's fully compatible with our current version of the software. Meaning it wont cause your editing application to crash or prevent it from opening. So yeah, you can still buy FX from NEWBLUE and increase your FX library. I'm happy with this!!!
The NEW improvements on the audio controls are COOL! I never had an issue with-these before, (remember there's always a WAY around things if you STOP for a minute to THINK being CREATIVE at editing with whatever resources you have), but the cute lil cue points would be wise-appreciated by some of you doing audio sync, music etc.

3. CONCLUSION:
__Despite the fact we USERS "never get listened" on the forums about the NEW ADD-ONS WISHES, I still recommend VS. It's simple lay-out keeps things "SIMPLE" and straight to the point. Some would keep on complaining bout crashes and low-key performance, BUGS etc.., and it's OK Lol. To each their on. People just doesn't get it. It's what it is for whatever bucks you're expending. BTW! All editing applications have BUGS, flaws and what not. STOP THE CRYING AND MOVE ON! Price-wise SV is still affordable giving the current economy circumstances, I've heard the contrary from Europe thou. Love the fact it does NOT REQUIERES a yearly subs like most editing applications are doing out there, that's annoying. In other words it makes you feel like you OWN-IT. It's yours! And you decide if you ever want to upgrade or not. So unless you're making the next AVATAR movie, this isn't the right editing application for you. This is PERFECT for current social media demands and here is a lil advice: Plan ahead, be creative and get the most out of your copy of VS. YOU CAN DO A LOT'S WITH IT. I've proven myself it's doable and worth it.

Hi Vicky V. I have been involved in video production since 1995. I already edited videos in different video editors, such as Adobe premier, Pinakle, Edius, DaVinci, but I stayed with Ulead Mediastudio Pro 8. In 2006 they stopped developing it and I had to continue to struggle in Win XP until they released VS 2020. I also bought 2021 and now 2023. Of course, 2023 is one of the best, but it still has the same error as the previous versions, faulty video export... I'm currently working in FHD. This is still enough for me because we broadcast TV broadcasts in HD 1280X720 and various celebrations in FHD 1920X1080.
When I export the project, the 30.min video is exported flawlessly. When I export a 1.2.3.4 one-hour project, the sound and video move or the exported video is stretched by 10 seconds. it just happens asynchronously. When I want to export a 1.2.3.4 hour video, I have to render after 30 minutes and then export them together in DaVinci 18. Try exporting a longer project in high resolution and let me know if it works for you too. Thanks Vendi.

Hello there! Like-wise I have bee using VS since its earlier creation by Ulead back in the days (Same as you I have used VEGAS, D-RESOLVE and FINAL CUT-PRO). I have not experienced any problems as the ones you described, so its hard to tell what's causing it on your end. I did rendered a whole 4k 3840x1634 1:30:00 mts movie, but it was using the Xvid CODEC on a video template I designed specially for that particular movie. The whole rendering process took over 24 hours based on the Specs of my operating system but the results were flawless, no dropped frames for audio nor video and perfectly rendered (With this I tell you I have not played much with the current MPEG-4 exporting video templates already set for you to render on SV). So you got me curious here hahahaha... Let me advice you on a trick I found-out here long-time-ago. Try rendering your timeline audio separately from your video in a Audio-WAV format for example; btw one of my favorites. Lol Do that then disable whatever active audio channels you have on your timeline for your movie. On a NEW AUDIO channel import that WAV audio created for your movie then proceed to render your whole project. This is how I solved missed match audio synch on previous versions of VS in the past, might work for you. Please keep in mind that some of these errors can be fixed by playing with the COMPRESSION settings within your video template to get better results on your final render. Don't give up, I'm pretty sure you can solve this issue.

Here out of curiosity:
1. Are you using the audio within the video files currently on your timeline, or are you trying to sync audio with your video from the audio channels? I'm asking because one thing can lead to something else. I usually SPLIT the audio from my videos to work with them sparely, I've found that some FX interact with the way your audio plays using it on your videos instead of being SPLIT. The "Flashback" FX can mess-up your audio within video for example. IDK why but it does... Lol So please work with VIDEO and AUDIO separately and let's see what's up. :) Keep me posted! Somebody else can bring something to the table and help you out. BTW! Do you do documentaries?... Why does your projects have to be so long..........? Lol Just curious.

Hi. Thank you for being so willing and helpful. I also work with sound separately, it's a habit from UMSPro8. When I have finished the project, I first recalculate the sound so that I can normalize the volume, then I use the AVS Audio editor, it's a great thing. When I have the sound normalized, I export it to a WAV file and add it to a free sound track. I turn off the other sound in the project and start Export. I think I managed to find out where I made a mistake. When exporting, I set the resulting video settings manually. Now I tried to check the box Same as Project Settings see. a picture. I exported 55 min. video and the result was surprising to me WITHOUT ERROR...OKOKOK... But I will still try the 1st hour 2nd hour 3 to 4th hour video if it will be error free so hats off to VS2023. You ask why I make such long videos: Since 2004, I have been making Municipal Television, filming various wedding celebrations, ribbons, St. receptions, etc... In our country, such a wedding can have up to 5 hours of video. When I try the multi-hour videos, I will hear Hi.
