VS Ultimate 2020 Editing Window Layout Sizing

Post by maximus01can »

Howdy,

Searched around for this one but couldn't find what I was looking for. This should be fairly simple but my mind isn't getting it. I'm trying to enlarge the actual editing window but dragging the timeline down and the other sections over but I just don't seem to get much of a larger work area. When editing 9:16 it's difficult to get into some smaller areas and do anything. If I could drag the timeline over and extend the editing window all the way to the bottom that may help some, but I can't seem to snag anywhere to drag the timeline over to the right....any information on how to enlarge this editing window for this blind guy would be greatly appreciated. I know you can use the enlarge button but you can't do anything more than using the snip tool on that screen unless I'm missing something there as well.

Cheers and thanks,

In this situation you probably need a two monitor set up, where you can drag the Preview screen to the other monitor. With only one screen, enlarging the Preview screen could cause other issues, it can be done, but is it then usable, see image

Hey thanks for the input I didn't even think about dragging a section to another screen or realize it could be done. I have 4....lol. Great tip.

Thanks and cheers.
