Black screen with DNG files

I use a Canon R6 and an old adobe photoshop. Some of the RAW files were converted to DNG files so i can read them with Photoshop.

Now i want to use PSP 2023. When i try to open the DNG files nothing happens. The files won't open. I tried several DNG files but with the same result. When i open a CR file from the R6 then there is no issue. What is the problem and how to resolve it?

Are you using the AfterShot option or the Camera RAW Lab option? According to this article from Corel "Currently, Adobe DNG files are not supported in AfterShot however, the DNG format is also used as the native format by some camera manufacturers like Leica, Pentax and Hasselblad and these can be opened in AfterShot"

Thank you. Opening in Camera Raw lab works indeed. Aftershot does not! Thanks for the tip!
