Install Corel VS 2022 Ultimate - Issues

I just installed VS2022 Ultimate and the premium template bundle, that seem to go okay but I did hit a few issues.

During the install of the bonus pack a screen popped up asking me to sign in/register with I DON’T RECALL WHO and as I’m tying in my details the screen disappears. Any suggestions?

I have also downloaded NewBlueVideoEssentials7ForWindowsSetup30-140723.exe from https://newbluefx.com/account/. Is this related to the above? Should I install this?

and now it automatically updated. How do I turn that off? I'm now on version 25.3.0.584 is that good or bad?

You now have the latest version of VS2022 installed, build 25.3.0.584 includes SP3 which fixes many previous issues

I used to be on VS2018 and I'm not sure if NewBlueVideoEssentials7ForWindowsSetup30-140723.exe is related to VS2018 (which I never got around to doing) or the current VS2022. How can I tell?

It was the NewBlue FX login page. It came up again when I added the NewBlue Titler Pro 5 effect to a clip.

I have set Check for Updates to Check Manually. Will that give me the option to select Yes or No to install update?

The check for updates should affect the main program only.
Go to Help About, if the version is 25.3.0.584 then you are using the most upto date version of Video Studio 2022

The “sign in/register” register request is almost certain to be from New Blue when installing a plugin provided by Alludo.
I have seen this in the past and will I am sure see it again, I simply add my e-mail address I use for new blue, this activates the plugin allowing full use without problems.

If you have purchased a New Blue effect or indeed have one provided as free with your purchase of Video Studio then I assume the same would apply, that is needing to register the plugin.

My question around 'Check for Updates' related to how it worked compared by VS2018. In VS2018 it asked me if I wanted to install the updates. Does 'Check Manually' achieve the same outcome?

Yes
Choosing Check for Updates or doing that automatically will return the same messages.

If check each week is set, that will only return a message only when updates are required, in which case the program does require updating, we would advise doing that.

Or No Updates required when a manual check is done, the program is up to date.

If you are unsure then go to Help – About, post here showing your version number, someone should confirm the latest version for your program
