I am using Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2022 (25.3.0.584). My projects includes audio only (Voice, Music 1, Music 2, Music 3, etc) - there is no Video track. There are no issues when I am working with just Voice and Music 1 tracks, but if I add a Music 2 track and tweak any levels (softer or louder) on Music 2, all previously tweaked levels on Music 1 reset to default levels. For instance, I'll put a voice MP3 on the Voice track, then add VideoStudio Auto Music clips to Music 1. Then I'll adjust the Auto Music levels up or down, as needed. Then I'll add sound FX (MP3, typically) to Music 2. However, adding the SFX to Music 2 and then adjusting the levels on Music 2, resets all the Auto Music levels on the Music 1 track to default (non-adjusted) levels.
Thanks for the help.

Hi dgorham98
And welcome to the forums
Sorry for our delay in replying to you
I did some tests but could not replicate your issue.
There are several ways to adjust the volume levels
If you are using the Sound Mixer then you have to playback in "project mode" to get the effect of the new levels.
If you select an individual clip then that will playback as default level.
Make sure the word Project is highlighted adjacent to the Play button below the preview screen

Re: Music Track Resets
Thank you, Trevor. Yup - I understand the Clip vs. Project. My issue impacts all the levels across all the clips of the entire project - quite vexing! And now even more so that you can't duplicate (not surprised) or that you've not heard of this before. I guess I'm a unicorn.
Since the problem only occurs when I add something to the third track (one voice, plus one music already on the timeline), my work around has been to render out the the Voice and Music tracks into a single file, then begin a new project with the rendered Voice and Music track on the Voice track, then add additional sound files to Music 1 - this keep my total number of tracks to two. No problems doing this in terms of screwed up levels (everything remains fine, as long as there's not a third track), but it's a heck of a lot of extra work.

Re: Music Track Resets
The other thing you might want to think about trying would be to reset VS. To do so go to C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\25.0 and either rename the 25.0 to something like 25.0_OLD, or delete it altogether. Then restart VS. It will take some time rebuild all the associated databases, but maybe when VS is fully open and working, you may find your problem has gone away.

Re: Music Track Resets
Hi
You mention using Auto Music and of course I have used that in my tests, can you tell us which music clip you used and whether you set a different category , song, version etc. just in case it’s a particular audio sample that is causing this.
