Converting RGB Image to CMYK

Hello colleagues!

I have created an image in PaintShop Pro 2023 Ultimate, and I need to send it to a third party professional print shop for printing.
They ask me that my image must be in CMYK format. I saved the image in TIFF format and send it to the print shop. They told me the image is still in RGB mode color.
I am missing something to output the image to CMYK correctly.

Any help?

When using Save As, select TIFF and then click on the "Options" button in the bottom-right corner. In the options choose CMYK.

But, before doing that you will probably want to do two things. If your printer has told you which CMYK color space they prefer you can install it and set it as the default CMYK color space in PSP so it gets converted properly. Close all images File -> Color Management -> Color Workingspace.

You will probably also want to Soft Proof it, by going to Image -> Split Channel -> Split to CMYK. And then Image -> Combine Channel -> Combine from CMYK. The end result will be a close approximation to what it'll look like in CMYK (don't save this one) so you know what to expect. When splitting and combining channels PSP uses the default CMYK color space to calculate the colors.
