Blur eyes/face for few seconds at different timestamps

Post by cyber360 »

Hi guys,

I have a 5 Minute video in which I need to blur face or eyes for a few seconds at different positions in the video. Once at minute 2 and once later on. I for sake can't get track motion to do this which wants to blur from the very beginning of the video. But I just need it at 2 timestamps later in the video.

Searched here in forum but couldn't find such similar request.

Having 2 options with this would be great: 1) mosaic blur a part for a few seconds and 2) overlay an image for a few seconds to cover face/eyes though option 1 would look "nicer".

Any idea on how to get this done as easily as possible?

Any help appreciated. <3

One way would be to split the clip at the point where you want to the Blur Filter to start and split again at the Blur end point, you could also fade in to and out of the Blur Filter

That seems to be a little tedious but one way to "elegantly" solve it. Wished the software had an extra easy tool where you just select a portion and mosaic blur for a few seconds, three mouseclicks and done.

Thanks for sharing the idea though! If that's the best choice I might go with it.
