VS2021 issue

Hello there,

I've just recently got a new PC and installed Corel VS 2021. Everything works smoothly apart from one thing - if I render any file to MPEG-2 it crashes immediately. If I choose to save it as MPEG-4 no issues whatsoever - it saves as an MP4 file. So - I have reinstalled the software 3 times now. I have installed K-Lite Codec Pack to see if this is going to help. I've also installed Corel without 'special features' that may cause crashing issues.

I've been using Corel for many, many years and I have never had any issues rendering to MPEG-2 format before.

I've run out of ideas... Looking for some advice.

Hi Les
My first thoughts may be a conflict with your graphics hardware.
Can you go to Preferences – Performance tab and change or deselect the acceleration options.
Try rendering to mpeg2.
The acceleration options are also available from the Share screen

Others on the forums using Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce may be able to comment
I assume 2021 has all service packs installed, go to Help – check for updates.

I've deselected the acceleration options, but that didn't help either.
I've also looked for updates, but none available, so I presume I'm up to date.

Very strange it's not letting me render to MPEG-2.
