Black Stripe on left of capture image w Movie Factory 3.0SE

I am using HauppageWin TV PVR 150 board. The image I view with WinTV2000 is great. When I go into capture mode with Ulead there is a black area down the left side of the image. I have tried to download the upgrades but they won't capture anything after I install them. The black portion on the left of the video image is in the final DVD wen viewed. The Ulead Movie Factory I am using is what came in the box with the PVR 150 Ulead Movie Factory 3.0 SE
