Pan & zoom refuses to stay Static

Post by Peem »

Normally in Custom P&Z you can select Static or Animated but during this project it has suddenly decided to revert to Animated after hitting the OK button, even when I have Static selected. Have not experienced this before. Any suggestions? Thanks, Peter.

Peter
What version of Video Studio are you using, your profile shows 2021, is this correct?

Post Updated
I have tested both 2021 and 2022 using Pan and Zoom with no problems.

Can you create a project using a jpeg image, apply P&Z
Then zip the project and attach to your reply here.
We can have a look to see if there is anything unusual going on.

Trevor, will do when time allows. Normally defaults to static but was trying run 3 images of same map consecutively modified and definitely didn't need animation but each opened with animation initially. Will try to save that section of project. Peter

Trevor,
Created a project with 2 of the images and now realise that the problem occurs on reopening the P&Z on already P&Zed image to make minor changes to image positioning. Reopens with Animate selected and automatically alters the crop boundary as it does when Animate is selected. Don't know if I still have a zip program so will delay zipping. Maybe you could try a second P&Z on one of your images using VS2021 and see if similar happens. As a workaround I have separated the images on timeline with other images and alleviated problem. Thanks, Peter
