Hello,
When I add a voice over to my video, the audio quality of the voice over becomes very distorted. I am putting the audio clip, which is in WMA , on the "voice" line and there is a music track on
music 1" line, which is in WMA, and A video clip on the video line "in mp4 format," which is muted. If I remove the music track the voice track sounds fine.

Hi Larry.
Are you sure you did not apply any effects or make volume changes to the voice track file , if you play the 2 sound files in a player, are they approximately the same "level".
(No need to remove the music track, just toggle it on/off.)
I don't think I've ever used that format, I'm always using WAV where possible, or mp3 because that's what most people record to. Any reason your audio is WMA? Are both files stereo?

Re: poor voice over audio quality
I did make volume changes to the voice track as I wanted it to be loud, but when I play the voice track isolated in Videostudio there is no distortion, only when played over the music.
I played the 2 files in WMP and they are pretty close to the same volume in there.
I started using WMA cause its a smaller file size compared to WAV and for projects like this its not a concern...or maybe it is for this?
Both files are stereo
sorry for the delayed reply

Hi
It is possible that the changes in volume levels and any distortions are only heard when in Project Playback, selecting a single audio clip will play from the clips original levels and not the changes.
