Hi all,
happy new year to everyone !
I'm using CVS2021 Ultimate (24.1.0.299 64-bit Ultimate) on the following system:
OS: Windows 10 Home
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6-Core
MMX Support: yes
Memory: 16 GB
When editing videos (even if filmed with a tripod) I always use the Mercalli Pro plugin which came along with my CVS version.
On a single clip it works great. Working on a video containing several clips it works fine as long as I only use it on 1 clip (or only on non-neighboring clips). Otherwise I always get the message "Analysis required". I don't like Mercalli RT which also came with CVS 2021, because it gives me less options than Mercalli Pro.
The time-consuming solution I found so far, is to use this plugin on every single clip, out put that clip and then start editing the video with the stabilized clips. In order to circumvent this time-consuming procedure (an average video contains about 40 clips, most of them longer than 2 minutes) I was looking in this forum to find out if it is possible to
- put all the clips I want to stabilize with Mercalli Pro on the timeline
- put the FX on every single clip
- output not the whole video, but every single clip with the stabilization applied
There seems to be no possibility to achieve this, but if someone has an idea I'd appreciate if you could share.
During my search in this forum I found this thread https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=68086 with a hint from Trevor, that this is fixed. But the download link in the message from Trevor from Sep 09, 2021 8:58 am doesn't work.
The Corel/VideoStudio support page doesn't offer any fixes at all for my 2021 version - the latest they offer is X10...
So, if anyone has an idea how I could shorten the stabilization process or how I can get the fix Trevor mentions this would be late christmas gift and I'd be really happy !
Best regards
Delta

Apologies, I noticed that about 30 minutes ago
The download link has been fixed
I have also provided an alternate download from this forum, so should always work from now on.

Thanks a lot, Trevor !
The updated "Download Link" worked now, but required an Alludo login, which I don't have.
So I tried the alternate download linkt to "VSX-2502.zip" and this worked fine.
I now have this VSX-2502.zip on my disc and can see that it contains a mercalli_x64.exe file.
Do I have to execute this (where to execute) or should I replace an existing file with the same name (there is no other mercalli_x64.exe)?
Please advice
Best regards

To install the hot fix simply double click the mercalli_x64.exe file.
