slowmo

Post by Vdanny »

Hi,
I would like to add 60P footage to a 24P timeline to get a 40% slow motion effect. With some editing programs you can change the clip frame rate so that all the frames appear and this is achieved. I can't see if this is possible in Videostudio so when I place a 60P clip on the timeline it simply gets rid of 36 frames per second and the clip plays normally. I can apply a motion effect but is it simply slowing down what is now being treated as a 24P sequence and therefore less smooth? Thanks for your assistance!

Try setting the project properties to 24fps and changing the clip speed/time-lapse to 2.5 times longer. Render using the project properties.
