Hi,
My son is really into filming short skits and and commercials using stuffed animals/puppets, so I bought him a green screen on Amazon. Nothing professional, but useable. For Christmas, I also bought him a softbox photography lamp so the lighting would be more even. The green screen itself, even though it's hanging on a frame, still has imperfections, wrinkles, etc. His makeshift studio is his bedroom with overhead incandescent light as well the softbox lamp. When he films footage, he imports the green screen footage into Video Studio 22, places it in the timeline and clicks the Chroma Key too and uses the dropper tool to try and pick chroma key color that best works. However, after we add the background footage, any white or light colors on the characters, many times is transparent. We tried the white balance tool and even the tone color tool, but still have the same problem. Does anyone have any tips so we can have better results using Chroma key

Re: Chroma key tips: images are transparent
Hi Techdad
And welcome to the forums
There are a couple of Chroma options, a filters found in the FX library (Chroma Key Pro)
Or the programs Chroma Key, both used for video on the overlay track
Double click the clip on the overlay track to open options panels, Chroma Key Tab
So which are you using, either way try both options to see which performs best for your video.
