Back a long time ago in 2015 I created a raster image of a map where I added some arrows that I found somewhere in PSP X8 (I think). Now I need to update the map, and I need to put a few new arrows on it. But the arrows of that type have gone from PSP 2020.
I believe the arrows were in a clipart library, but I can't find anything about clipart in PSP. There are arrows in the Preset Shapes, but only a few rather paltry types.
How come that the much more recent version of PSP is missing the wealth of arrows that I could find in a much older version?

You have quite a few options.
Pen Tool and change the line style to one of the arrow types
Preset Tool and use an arrow shape. I used Suz Shook's script and created shapes from the WIngdings fonts.
Picture Tube Tool - if you have any arrow shaped tubes.

Re: PSP 2022 Where are the arrows?
Thanks. The possibility of making new arrows from Wingdings is probably the way I have to go. The built-in preset shapes are miserable, and there are no arrows in the picture tubes.
I am really disappointed that big libraries of clipart and symbols like arrows have disappeared from PSP. I have bought new versions every second year, and I have always believed that I could do more with each version. Now I find that I should probably find an old version and reinstall it if I want big libraries of shapes and stuff.

You're right. There is very limited content in PSP 2022 Ultimate and very few picture tubes.steenkh wrote: ↑Fri Dec 23, 2022 10:20 am Thanks. I even installed the Ultimate Creative Collection package.
