Capturing via HDMI/USB stops

Been away from video editing for a few years and got an offer on opening my VS18 to upgrade to VS 2022 which I did.
I am trying to capture some stuff from an Android box via HDMI to USB adaptor' everything works fine but capture stops after about 8 - 9 minuts at aprox 800mb, VS is not crashing just the actual capture stopping.
Capture is in MPEG-2 HD
Any suggestions as to why this is happenning and how to get around it?
