There is a very helpful option "Selected Area" for syncronization of multicam-recorded footage that has not been documented for VideoStudio 25.
It is neither mentioned in the PDF-manual (should be on page 247) nor in the online help:
https://help.corel.com/videostudio/v25/ ... mera.html#
PDF can be found here: https://help.corel.com/videostudio/v25/ ... o-2022.pdf
There is also no mentioning in the older video tutorial: https://youtu.be/9Q6x3A43nuo?t=107
Those of you who often record with several cameras may know about the tedious job of syncing the tracks. If there are clear audio markers syncing automatically by Audio-option is the best way to do it. But when the Audio option does not work for all tracks it becomes difficult because doing it manually is a laborious job often resulting in some minor misalignment between the tracks.
The option "Selected Area" can be the solution as I recently experienced it in a project. By selecting only a smaller part of the footage the automatic sync algorithm worked significantly more reliable than exposing entire tracks to the software.
